Marble Column

Queretaro is one of the most prestigious marble producers in Mexico, having more than 200 years extracting this marvelous metamorphic rock. One example of this exquisite marble is "Palacio de Bella Artes," located in Mexico City, which was constructed with marble from Queretaro. This modern column, made with gray marble, resembles a Doric column. It stands out for its circular base and capital without moldings, as well as a cylindrical and robust shaft.
