Dolores Hidalgo's traditional pottery crafts are mainly crafted with white glazed pottery, locally known as "Mayolica."These glazed pottery crafts are distinguished for their elegant and colored designs, a product of Italian renaissance art and Spanish influence. Totally hand-painted using vivid colors, where flowers and birds are predominant in their designs. This umbrella stand was totally hand-made using primarily glazed pottery. It is decorated with floral motifs, painted primarily in a green palette.
