Talavera pottery stands out for its beauty and quality. Crafted with a mixture of black and white clay, vitreous-enamel finishes in ivory white as a base and is usually painted with blue, yellow, black, green, orange, and mauve colors. These crafts are modeled in Puebla, Mexico, the country's main Talavera pottery production center. The most significant feature of these crafts is the amalgam between the Spanish and oriental styles in their designs. Our collection is authentic Talavera pottery with a designation of origin D04. This jar was totally hand-made, using primarily glazed pottery. It is beautifully decorated with floral motifs painted in black and green tones.
