Black Antique Pot

Puebla's cultural richness is characterized by its emblematic old neighborhoods, such as "Barrio de Analco" and "Barrio de la Luz," where pottery has been preserved since pre-Hispanic times. In addition, Puebla's "haciendas" (estates) have kept crafts that today have become cultural legacies of great beauty. This 1950's antique clay pitcher ("cantaro") from "Barrio de Analco" keeps its original shape and finishes without restoration.
