This magnificent alebrije is an authentic Oaxacan copal wood carving. It is entirely hand-carved, painted with thin brushes, and decorated with acrylic paintings. The artistry quality and detailed design make this alebrije a unique and valuable collector's item. Except for its detachable ears and tail, it was made from a single block of copal wood. This armadillo is decorated with traditional Zapotec symbols and painted in a palette of blue tones.
